We have an exciting opportunity for a NMC Registered Deputy Head of Healthcare to join our team at HMP Rye Hill, a category B Prison located in Rugby.

You will be managing 4 clinical leads that cover Mental Health, Pharmacy, Primary Care, and Business Manager.

HMP Rye Hill has a capacity of 660 males after 18.

Hours:

Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Salary:

This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary between £53K - £56K per annum FTE, depending on experience.

Main Duties of the Job As a Deputy Head of Healthcare, your responsibilities will vary. You will:

Provide outstanding evidence-based care to our patients by seeking out, listening to, and acting on feedback so that patient engagement is at the centre of service delivery.

Provide day-to-day operational service delivery and data with integrity, in a timely manner to meet commissioner expectations.

Deliver non-judgemental, compassionate care within the financial framework that is safe, high quality, and in line with CQC requirements.

Achieve this through adherence to policies and procedures and compliance with statutory responsibilities while driving excellence.

Qualifications Required

NMC Adult Registered - Essential

Inclusive leadership approach embedding a culture of continuous progression and innovation

Experience of client management or meeting commissioner expectations

Experience developing effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community, or prison environment.
