£180 - £215 Per day

Responsibilities:

Assist the Head of Physical Education in the overall management and development of the department

Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality Physical Education lessons to students

Support the implementation of the school's Physical Education curriculum

Lead and coordinate extracurricular sports activities and events

Monitor and track student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and colleagues

Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to Physical Education within the school

Minimum Requirements:

Good honours degree or equivalent

Qualified Teacher Status

Degree in Physical Education or related field

Teaching qualification

Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in Physical Education

Experience in a leadership or management role within a school setting

In-depth understanding of the Physical Education curriculum

Strong leadership and communication skills

Ability to motivate and inspire students and colleagues

Excellent organisational and time management abilities

Proficient in using technology to enhance teaching and learning

Postgraduate qualification in Education or Physical Education (preferred)

Coaching qualifications in a specific sport (preferred)

Work Environment: Fast-paced school environment with regular interaction with students, parents, and colleagues. Involvement in extracurricular activities and events. Full-time position with occasional weekend or evening responsibilities.
