The College is seeking to appoint the ideal candidate to become a member of the College Management Team, as a Deputy Head of School in the Maths department. This role will involve supporting the day-to-day management of the curriculum within the department and supporting the Head of School in the development and management of both staff and students; ensuring an outstanding experience for students. This is a fantastic role, which will involve participating in the development of teachers, providing opportunities to engage in industrial upskilling and contributing to curriculum development. This role will involve a teaching commitment of 15 hours per week in line with management guidelines, which are reviewed annually. The successful candidate must have: A Degree or professional qualification in relevant discipline A Teaching qualification Teaching experience within the FE or Secondary School Sector Line management experience An ability to manage and lead across more than one subject area/specialism, with experience in at least one area of the school Evidence of supporting a team to achieve results A proven record of demonstrating excellence in teaching.
