Green Fold School is an outstanding inclusive primary special school (Ofsted November 2023 Outstanding) for children with complex needs in the heart of Bolton. Due to the successful promotion of the previous post holder we are currently seeking to appoint a strong, collaborative leader to join the existing Leadership Team in the role of Deputy Headteacher.
You will already have experience of successful teaching and leadership in a special school and have a significant understanding of children’s varying needs and of the complexities of their care.
Our school is part of The Orchards Federation, a group of three schools working closely together for the benefit of all our pupils, the other members of the Federation are The Orchards Nursery School and Cherry Tree Primary School.
Green Fold is located across 4 sites in Bolton each with specific enabling learning environments closely matched to our learners' needs; the role will allow you to work and lead across all four sites.
Green Fold numbers have been expanding every year and there are many opportunities for the right person.
You will:
