Deputy Headteacher Pirehill First School Stone Group 2 ISR L8 – L12 (£59,167-£65,286) Required for 28 April 2025 Due to the promotion of our current Deputy Headteacher, we are looking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher to work within our leadership team to build on our proven success and who will value and promote our school ethos embodied in the Pirehill Principle: Proud, Independent, Respectful, Enthusiastic, Happy and Healthy, Intelligent Individuals who Love Learning and Love Life Our staff and governors are looking for a Deputy Headteacher who: Is an outstanding teacher who leads by example with experience across the primary phase Has experience of leadership at middle or senior level with a proven track record for whole school improvement Is a forward-thinking practitioner with a key interest in innovation and research to drive teaching and learning forward for all pupils including SEND Has proven skill to monitor, evaluate and report on standards of attainment, teaching and learning and data analysis Has an ambitious drive and high expectations of achievement for all pupils and has the motivation, organization, and inter-personal skills to inspire this in others Has the ability to manage change and shape future school improvement Is committed to working collaboratively with staff, parents/carers, governors, and the local community Our children and parents are looking for a Deputy Headteacher who: Loves children and will encourage their passion for learning Is enthusiastic, creative, and innovative Will understand their needs and develop their individual talents Will be a visible, friendly, and supportive presence around the school Builds good relationships with parents, carers, and their families We can offer: Hardworking and motivated children who are happy and keen to learn Enthusiastic and highly motivated staff and governors Strong and effective links with parents and the community Management time to develop your role Closing date for applications is: Noon, Monday 20 January 2025 Interviews: Tuesday 4 February 2025 Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and encouraged; please contact the school on 01785 334970 to arrange a tour of the school.
