Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of two care homes, located next door to each other. Lead and supervise staff to ensure high standards of care and support are consistently delivered. Complete office-based administrative duties, including staff rotas, care plans, and compliance with CQC regulations. Provide hands-on support in emergencies or during staff shortages, including weekend cover when necessary. Ensure the homes are providing a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for residents.
Essential Requirements:
Previous experience as a Deputy Manager within a residential care setting, ideally specialising in Learning Disabilities. NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or higher. Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A caring, compassionate approach, with a focus on improving the quality of life for our residents.
Salary & Benefits:
Starting rate of £15.00 per hour, rising to £16.00 per hour after the successful completion of a probationary period. Flexible working, with occasional floor cover during emergencies or weekends.
