We’re thrilled to announce the creation of several new Deputy House Manager roles across our Ayrshire Children’s Homes, where we are looking for talented and dedicated staff to join our team. In this role, you will support and care for our young people and be responsible for a small team of staff.

– We support some of the most vulnerable children in society who have varying degrees of emotional behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD and associated difficulties so there will be times where your resilience is challenged. Communication
– Communicating with our young people is vital to understanding their needs. Positive working relationships, good teamwork and communication play a key part in ensuring important information is relayed to other staff. Organisation
– Overseeing the effective implementation of care and independence programmes for our young people through the effective line management of the staff team and managing shift patterns on a rota basis. Caring
– Our young people require the best care we can offer. If you are a naturally caring and compassionate person, this is the role for you. Attentive
– No young person is the same so being attentive to understand them and identify areas where we can support is important. Above all, we provide a supportive and collaborative working environment where you can flourish in your career and feel incredibly rewarded by helping those who need it most.
