Key responsibilities include:

Managing and developing the care team to ensure a positive and productive work environment Overseeing the completion and monthly review of care plans for all residents Ensuring medication management is adhered to, including regular audits, timely ordering, and correct handling Motivating and supporting staff to deliver outstanding care Maintaining compliance with company policies, safeguarding procedures, and industry regulations Key Competencies & Skills

Strong leadership and teamwork skills Experienced in medicine management and medication audits Ability to maintain high standards of care, even under pressure Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Time management and flexibility in working hours A commitment to personal development and career progression Essential Criteria

Relevant professional qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse or NVQ Level 3) At least three years experience in a residential or nursing home setting, with a minimum of one year working with people living with dementia Comprehensive understanding of Person-Centred Care principles Awareness of safeguarding procedures and how to handle allegations of abuse Ability to work within 30 minutes of the home Preferred Criteria
