Assist the Registered Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service. Ensure high standards of care and support are maintained, in line with CQC regulations and company policies. Demonstrate excellent leadership, motivation and communication skills. Supervise and support care staff, ensuring they are well-trained, motivated, and compliant with best practices. Conduct assessments and develop person-centred care plans tailored to individual client needs. Liaise with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies to ensure a seamless care experience. Manage rotas, staff scheduling, and ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained. Assist with quality assurance, audits, and compliance monitoring. Support with recruitment, training, and ongoing professional development of staff. Respond to incidents, safeguarding concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner. Deputy Manager Requirements
Previous experience in a senior role within a care at home or complex care setting. Level 3 (or above) qualification in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards Level 5). Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Able to cope professionally with emergency and difficult situations.
