Deputy MLRO / MLCO, Compliance – Guernsey

We are looking for a new team member to support our client's Guernsey Compliance team. Your responsibilities will include providing support to the MLRO and MLCO, which will include site visits and thematic reviews undertaken by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission. You will deputise for the MLRO in their absence, including receiving, considering and, if appropriate, externalising IDRs, providing receipts to those that have submitted IDRs, updating the IDR registers, dealing with consent requests and IDR related queries. Your qualifications and skills will need to include a minimum of 5 years compliance experience with an international financial services organisation, a strong understanding of financial crime, regulatory compliance and international sanctions obligations across Guernsey, an applicable qualification for example an ICA Diploma, with excellent communication and reporting writing skills.
