We are seeking an experienced and dedicated
Deputy Nurse Manager
in the Newtownabbey area. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to elderly patients and be responsible for maintaining their physical and emotional well-being, including supporting the Nurse Manager and adhering to RQIA standards for the home. Responsibilities:
Provide excellent care and support to elderly patients, focusing on maintaining their dignity, respect, and independence. Administer medication, monitor vital signs, and perform routine medical procedures as required. Develop care plans and manage patient care, ensuring that they are regularly reviewed and updated. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals. Provide emotional support to patients and their families, helping them cope with the challenges of aging and illness. Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring that they are securely stored and confidential. Ensure that all health and safety regulations and guidelines are followed at all times. Requirements:
Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin. Previous experience working in a nursing home. Proven Deputy Manager experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and on own initiative. Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines. Benefits:
