The role: Supervise and lead nursing staff, ensuring smooth daily operations. Oversee training and development of nursing personnel, conducting performance evaluations. Coordinate and oversee patient care plans, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements. Monitor and assess residents' health status, assisting in clinical decision-making and problem resolution. Foster effective communication among healthcare team members and collaborate with other departments. Ensure compliance with care home policies and procedures, implementing and enforcing safety protocols. Manage nursing resources efficiently, participating in budget planning and control. Identify areas for quality improvement and implement necessary changes. Provide leadership to the nursing team, ensuring high standards of care are maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices. Supervise and support nursing staff, ensuring appropriate skill mix and staffing levels. Facilitate ongoing training and development for the nursing team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
What we’re looking for: NMC Registered Experience working in a care home environment.
