Deputy Pharmacist Manager

Please note this is not an Agenda for Change Post An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Pharmacist Manager to support the Pharmacy Manager in the delivery of outstanding outpatient pharmacy services, based at The Outpatient Pharmacy at the James Cook University Hospital. The post holder will manage and deliver services in accordance with relevant professional, ethical and legal standards and locally agreed policies, procedures and guidelines. The post holder will make essential contributions to the daily workflow to ensure outstanding quality services for customers, hospital staff and other service users, whilst demonstrating effective leadership and complying with the General Pharmaceutical Council’s code of conduct for responsible pharmacist and registered premises. The post holder will co-ordinate and participate in the day to day management of the pharmacy. They will also co-ordinate training and development of other staff, providing professional and managerial advice to these staff when necessary. The post holder will utilise opportunities for the personal development of staff in line with operational service requirements, embed a learning culture focussing on both professional and personal developments for colleagues, coach and mentor the team to ensure engagement in achieving success. We are looking for a motivated and positive individual who can lead and contribute to outstanding outpatient pharmacy services, with excellent customer satisfaction and communication skills.
