Deputy Shop Manager

shop, you will deputise for the Shop Manager by taking overall responsibility for managing all shop activities in this highly successful shop. This will include: Stock management Cash handling Merchandising Customer service Fully supported by our Retail team, leading and managing colleagues and volunteers will be integral to your role on a day-to-day basis. This will also include the recruitment, training, and onboarding of volunteers to ensure the shop follows good working practice. In order to fulfil the Deputy Shop Manager role, you will also need: Stamina A creative eye Excellent display skills and innovative ideas to boost shop takings Basic administration and PC skills Currently trading Monday to Saturday and selling a mixed offering of clothing and housewares, the Malton shop would ideally suit someone with previous charity retail/retail experience; however, we are happy to consider candidates from any background with management experience gained within a customer-facing organisation. This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week, 5 days over 7.
