Lulworth ward is a general surgical ward with a friendly and professional team that provides an ideal environment for applicants to develop their skills, knowledge, and competency in the challenging demands of caring for the acute surgical patient.

We have on-ward support from a Clinical Practice Educator who works closely with the relevant Specialist Nurses. This is a clinical post, and you will be expected to lead the shift as the Nurse in charge and manage your own caseload of staff from a HR perspective. A full induction programme will be provided, and there will be ongoing education and support.

Lulworth ward is a 31-bedded ward where you will need to care for patients before and after surgery and be involved in all aspects of care from admission to discharge.
