About the Role: This dynamic position offers the opportunity to work across multiple sites, with a primary base at

Doddington

and regular travel to other NWAFT locations. You will play a vital role in leading and supporting the outpatient nursing team, delivering safe, effective and compassionate care in a community outpatient setting.

Main duties of the job What You'll Do: Provide

clinical leadership and management

to the outpatient nursing team. Ensure the delivery of

safe and high-quality patient care

in a community setting. Coordinate patient pathways , promoting a smooth and efficient experience for all. Support the

development and training

of staff, fostering a culture of excellence. Drive

innovative service improvements

and implement best practices across sites.

Person Specification Education and Qualifications Essential NMC Registration Mentorship module/Preceptor training Evidence of continuing professional development

Desirable Management/leadership certification Revalidation training

Experience Essential 5 years post qualification experience in Hospital or Primary Care Previous Outpatient Clinic Experience Post registration experience to demonstrate relevant clinical skills for this post Mentoring experience

Desirable Participation in a change management project

Knowledge Essential Knowledge of current clinical evidence-based practice Knowledge of current professional issues related to nursing

Desirable Experience with risk assessment and adverse events investigations

Key Skills Essential Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise work
