What You'll Do: Oversee essential services such as security, cleaning, laundry, pest control, portering, patient catering, and more. Collaborate with PFI contractors to ensure service excellence. Monitor and audit the performance of key service providers while building and maintaining strong partnerships. Enhance our Security provision and Waste Management, streamlining and refining other areas in the long term. Key Responsibilities

Step in for the Soft FM Manager when needed, managing a full portfolio of soft services. Take charge of patient catering, linen, and uniform services, while being the point of contact for security matters. Develop training programs for NHS staff in conflict resolution and de-escalation. Collaborate with the Environmental Manager to ensure efficient, compliant waste disposal. Oversee recruitment, training, safety, and welfare of function staff. Maintain high standards with outsourced services, auditing performance, and ensuring compliance. Participate in review meetings, working groups, and committees to ensure a seamless, efficient environment. About Us

Qualifications

Level 3 Food hygiene certificate. Knowledge of HTM07/01 (Waste Management) Degree level or equivalent, post graduate knowledge through training, experience. Experience of use of IT packages including Word, Excel and Powerpoint. SIA registered. Knowledge and experience managing Infection, Prevention and Control within an environment. Experience working within a hospital environment. Experience with working with security teams and understanding security protocols. Experience

Demonstrable interpersonal, leadership, and organisational skills. Ability to plan work effectively, manage priorities and work efficiently under pressure. Knowledge of National cleaning standards 2012. Knowledge of National food and Beverage standards 2020. Experience of delivering training sessions via presentation to small and medium groups, both in person and online. Knowledge of pest control legislation. Knowledge and experience of security for patients and staff. Additional Criteria
