Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Flooring Store Deputy Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the overall management of operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. This position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to manage a team effectively, and a commitment to achieving organisational goals. Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Supervise and motivate staff to achieve sales targets while maintaining high standards of customer service. Manage inventory levels and assist with stock control processes to ensure optimal product availability. Handle administrative tasks including scheduling, reporting, and maintaining records. Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and performance. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Implement effective sales management strategies to drive revenue growth within the retail environment. Get involved in warehouse duties as and when required. Requirements Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual abilities are advantageous. Proficient in administrative tasks with strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to demonstrate effective sales techniques and strategies for achieving targets. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilities. Familiarity with sales management software or systems is a plus.
