As a Deputy Team Leader, you’ll make sure our young people get the best from us. It’s a worthwhile role that comes with great rewards. You will work directly with our young people and assist the Care Manager in promoting outstanding child care practice within the school. Get out what you put in You will play a significant role in supervision of Key Workers, encouraging their effective evaluation, monitoring, planning and evaluating for each young person. You will ensure that full and complete casework records for young people are maintained and that sound decisions are made and carried out when attending case conferences, reviews and planning meetings. In the absence of the Team Leader you will be responsible for all residential admin and childcare functions and take responsibility for the school on specific evenings and weekends as per rota with sleep in duties when required. To be considered, you’ll need experience in residential childcare and ideally a Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England) or an equivalent, plus the ability to build strong relationships with children and parents. Resilience and understanding will play a big part in your success. You must also have a full UK driving licence.
