Support the Ward Manager in overseeing and supervising a team of registered and unregistered staff , ensuring effective collaboration and performance. Implement best practices throughout the ward , promoting high standards of care and consistency in service delivery. Facilitate and support service changes , ensuring a smooth transition and continuous improvement in care quality. Provide clinical leadership for the service , guiding the team in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. Contribute to the delivery of personalised care
and actively participate in initiatives aimed at service improvement. Support and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (MDT)
to ensure integrated and effective patient care. Implement and evaluate therapeutic interventions
within the broader care programme, ensuring they meet the needs of individual patients. Assist the Ward Manager in ensuring that care and treatment provided meet regulatory standards , maintaining compliance with all relevant guidelines and policies. Requirements of the Deputy Ward Manager: Current NMC Registration
with up-to-date Revalidation. Certified Mentor
with experience in clinical supervision (training in clinical supervision is advantageous). Demonstrated commitment to Continued Professional Development (CPD)
with a clear intent to further develop professional skills and leadership abilities. Exceptional communication skills , both verbal and written. Proficient in computer skills
and familiar with relevant software. Experience in Mental Health or Learning Disability services
is required. A minimum of 3 years' post-registration experience
