The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, team working skills, and a dedication to improving the patient experience.
You will need to demonstrate continuing professional development and a strong commitment to develop others, working closely within a Multidisciplinary team.
Applicants must be able to evidence or demonstrate experience of working as a Band 5 or previous experience as a Band 6 within Trauma and Orthopaedics.
You will be required to demonstrate significant Band 5 experience/Leadership experience. We are looking for individuals with leadership potential who possess effective communication skills and can demonstrate a proactive, collaborative, and innovative approach to the clinical environment, with a passion for excellence in patient care.
Informal visits are encouraged.
Job Responsibilities:
You will support the ward manager to lead, provide, and supervise a very high standard of compassionate care to our patients. You will support the safety and quality agenda of patient care and staff management, ensuring that the values and objectives of the Trust are met, whilst improving patient outcomes. You will support the journey of the patient from admission to discharge, identify risks, formulate actions to reduce these risks, and ensure patient throughput is effective. You will display excellent leadership and effective communication skills, demonstrating a proactive, collaborative, and innovative approach to the clinical environment, with a passion for excellence in patient care.
