An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Deputy Ward Manager to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Newbury, Berkshire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers. This hospital offers inpatient care for those who require mental health rehabilitation to support them in increasing their recovery pathway and independence. To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin. As the Deputy Ward Manager your key responsibilities include: Supervision and management of care staff. Planning, assessing, delivering and evaluating individual care. Planning staff rotas. Establish and maintain outstanding communication with clients, relatives and colleagues. Deputise in the absence of the Ward Manager. Undertake on call within a rota. Demonstrate consistent leadership and role modelling. The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role: Must have senior nursing experience working within a similar setting. Brain Injury experience desirable but not essential as training will be provided. Must be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team and have sound knowledge of regulatory requirements. Must be able to complete an enhanced DBS check. The successful Deputy Ward Manager will receive an excellent salary of £40,014 - £43,314 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours a week.
