Career Teachers have an exciting opportunity to working within Sheffield based secondary schools.

We are currently looking for QTS or PGCE qualified D&T teacher to work on either a full-time or part-time basis starting from September 2024.

We are looking for a dedicated and motivational teacher to help support both Key stage 3 & 4 pupils. Whether you have multiple years' worth of teaching experience or you have recently graduated from a relevant study course, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive D&T lessons to students.
  • The ability to teach both theory and practical lessons within a range subject modules.
  • Create a supporting and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the technology curriculum.
  • Maintain classroom standards in line with current school policies.
  • Cover a range of other subjects where required.

The ideal candidate will hold the following qualifications and skills:

  • QTS or PGCE qualification.
  • Has recent, relevant experience as Technology Teacher within the key stage 3 & 4 levels.
  • Flexible, committed, motivational and passionate about teaching.
  • A current DBS or is willing to complete a new one.
  • Able to easily commute to Sheffield and surrounding areas in South Yorkshire.

Salary & working hours

Daily rates of pay vary dependent on experience between £120 to £180.

This is a flexible role with both full-time and part-time positions available - meaning, you have full control of when you are looking to work and how many hours you want to complete.

All quoted rates are inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay.
