As a Design Engineer, you'll join a busy and reactive design office, collaborating with the team to provide cutting-edge solutions that enhance and improve products. You will bring your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to deliver innovative designs, contributing to the company's continued success and growth. Key responsibilities:

Create 3D sheet metal designs and generate output data for laser, punch, and press brake machinery using nesting and bending software. Use software tools such as RADAN, RADBEND, Autodesk Inventor/AutoCAD, and Vault Basic for 3D and 2D design work. Provide detailed drawing packs to assist operators with folding, welding, and general assembly tasks. Develop and maintain BOMs and manage manufacturing processes through an MRP platform. Collaborate with the Design Manager to review and analyse bespoke product designs. Work independently on various projects, maintaining a high level of accuracy and planning. Troubleshoot design challenges and adapt to evolving requirements in a fast-paced environment. And this is what you'll need:

Proven experience with AutoCAD, particularly for 2D plan layouts and laser etching. Ability to produce comprehensive drawing packs for manufacturing processes, including forming, welding, and assembly layouts. And this is what you'll get:
