Design and Development Engineer – Product Development Bristol-based (Hybrid working in place) £30,000 – £40,000 plus bonus and benefits A Design and Development Engineer is required by a global Manufacturing client of ours who is going through a period of rapid growth currently, whilst being at the forefront of their industry. The successful candidate will have an analytical approach to solving Engineering problems as well as being comfortable in both design and product testing scenarios. This is a permanent opportunity that includes a base salary of between £30,000 - £40,000 dependent upon experience and qualifications plus bonus and benefits. Overview of the Design and Development Engineer role: An innovative approach using a first principles approach to engineering corrective actions Participate in design reviews with the project team Set up product tests and provide test reports in support of customer field trials and investigations Accountable for your solutions being sent to the end customer and evaluate and assess field trial information Provide test reports in support of your investigations as a method to prove or disprove root cause/failure Key skills required for the Design and Development Engineer role: Experience in support/maintenance/testing of electro-mechanical systems Knowledge of product testing & design Experience in the use of a range of electro-mechanical systems and components e.g. Valves, regulators, pumps & VFDs.
