Design Engineer Calne Salary Dependent upon Experience We are looking for a self-sufficient and motivated individual to join a company with over 40 years’ experience in the specialist design, development, and production of machinery. Design Engineer Roles and Responsibilities: Design and develop hydraulic systems and lifting equipment. Design components using Autodesk Inventor, performing engineering calculations to ensure that designs meet standards. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including CAD drawings, specifications, and technical files for UKCA marking. Be responsible for prototype testing and analysis, feeding back performance and adjustments. Provide hands-on support during the manufacturing and assembly processes. The ideal Design Engineer will: Have experience of designing hydraulic systems. Be skilled in CAD software, especially Autodesk Inventor. Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or similar. Have design experience preferably in the agricultural or mechanical machinery industries. Possess strong engineering calculation skills and understanding of hydraulic principles. Have experience using or creating technical files for UKCA / CE marking requirements and a solid understanding of compliance requirements. Have hands-on experience in machinery assembly or maintenance (beneficial). Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00 / Friday: 08:00 – 14:00
