This role offers the chance to play a pivotal part in the design of new products and concepts that align with business needs. Your Responsibilities

As a Design Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include: Designing and maintaining detailed technical drawings and schematics using 3D CAD software (currently Creo). Managing multiple projects in line with NPI (New Product Introduction) plans. Preparing manufacturing and process instructions for new products. Resolving manufacturing issues during the design and development phases. Collaborating with internal and external customers to ensure design objectives are met. Leading pre-production processes and design reviews for product handover to manufacturing teams. Supporting the development of test rigs and ensuring product compliance with industry standards. What We're Looking For

We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria: Essential Qualifications & Experience

BEng qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related scientific discipline. 3+ years of design engineering experience in automotive or aerospace manufacturing ideally. Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Creo or similar) and product lifecycle management tools. Strong knowledge of GD&T, BS8888 standards, and design for manufacture/assembly principles. Skills & Competencies

Mechanical bias with some electrical knowledge. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. Ability to manage workloads effectively under pressure. Clear communication of technical concepts to diverse audiences. Desirable Skills

Knowledge of AS9100, AS9145, or APQP standards. Experience with material selection, plating finishes, and simulation testing. Familiarity with DFMEA and risk assessment processes. How to Apply
