Home based role offering a competitive salary Key tasks and responsibilities will be: Competent in providing both standard and bespoke engineering designs compliant with client technical specifications and industry standards Manage your own projects from concept through to detailed design ensuring technical excellence, and always maintaining outstanding levels of client service Co-ordinate the tasks and ensuring all deadlines are met Work with a team of specialists both internal and external clients Cross department liaison e.g., technical sales, project management, contracts Attend customer meetings and technical site surveys Competent to utilise AutoCAD 2D to carry out order specific design Build 3D CAD library of parts and assemblies Produce detailed lift design / installation drawings, fabrication drawings for customer approval Key Requirements for the role: Industrial experience within the lift industry, ideally with a design remit Confident to work on and use design tools such as CAD, SolidWorks and/or AutoDesk Able to manage your own workload, to prioritise tasks and projects based on stakeholder requirements and needs Friendly, approachable and customer focused, able to manage external stakeholders around the delivery of detailed technical drawings Liftec Express is a group of core specialist businesses which focus on the supply, installation, maintenance, repair and modernisation of all types of lift equipment in commercial and residential properties.
