DOE Orion are currently working with an innovative manufacturing company based in Gloucester who are looking for an experienced Design Engineer. They are looking for a Design Engineer to join their small, friendly team and work hands-on in the fast-paced environment. Design Engineer Duties: Create Engineering drawings to aid the production team in welding and fabricating material handling equipment. CAD 2D & 3D drawings of our material handling equipment. Creating 2D & 3D models, engineering drawings, parts lists, and layouts. Apply 2D & 3D CAD Modelling techniques to complex designs and assignments. Provide design solutions. Compile technical documentation such as user manuals, spec sheets, and instructions. Design Engineer Required Experience: 5+ years of 2D & 3D CAD experience in AutoCAD & steel manufacturing. Minimum of 5x GCSEs. HNC/HND. Degree qualification in an engineering/design-related field. Highly motivated team player. Design Engineer Package: Competitive Salary of GBP35,000 - GBP42,000. 23-day holiday allowance. Pension contribution. Onsite parking. Design Engineer Shifts: Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
