Due to continued demand for engineering change projects and continuous improvement we are looking to speak to Design Engineers who are experienced in design and project management with a broad knowledge of engineering principles to take engineering change projects from initial start to completion to join Groupe Atlantic UK, ROI & North America. This role will work as part of a multi-discipline team to complete engineering change activities on project ranges. The Design Engineer will also be responsible for: Maintaining a sound theoretical approach to technology and demonstrate practical application of engineering knowledge in planning and specifying activities and problem solving/solution evaluation. Ability to understand, interpret technical data and write reports. Collaboration with third party expertise/contracts as required to meet NPI and advanced development programmes. Supporting of project teams and the Programme Management team to create and deliver agreed projects to time, cost and specification in line with company policy and procedures, to industry regulation and standards. Developing and maintaining technical and project documentation and action/monitor tasks for own projects and other projects of the Programme Management team. Having knowledge and understanding of all regulations and standards related to area of competence and general awareness of regulations and standards in all areas. Supporting the planning of projects within area of responsibility and delivery of all agreed projects in adherence with NPI & company processes. Supporting the creation and monitoring of budgets, business case, risk registers, H&S, timeline & resource plans, while ensuring efficient and effective delivery. Communication and support effective management of risks & escalation with possible solutions & mitigation options. Contribution and full adherence to continuous improvement, ensuring ongoing review and development of NPI & business processes. Understanding and maintaining relevant technical skills. Developing and maintaining constructive relationships with business management, colleagues and external stakeholders. Ability to identify and challenge the critical path activities and create scenarios to ensure the best possible project outcome is achieved by the business. Providing proactive drive to ensure project delivery against the business/departmental KPI's. Supporting or ability to seek support from/to other functions in delivering specific aspects of the project (e.g. R&D, procurement, Industrial engineering, quality etc.). Managing key internal and external customer requirements/needs. Able to establish an effective communications framework within a cross functional project team. Person

To be successful in the role of Design Engineer you will have: Decision making skills Excellent communication skills: both written and verbal The capability to digest information rapidly Expert technical and engineering disciplines Problem solving skills with the ability to take the wider view Ability to perform well whilst working under pressure and to strict deadlines Outgoing and confident personality with the skills to build and maintain positive working relationships quickly Solid and reliable team player Well organised with time management and prioritisation skills Being logically minded with the ability to analyse and evaluate information quickly and accurately Ability to ask questions in order to determine correct information Flexible and robust with a 'can-do' attitude CAD and PLM experience, preferably NX and Teamcenter. Degree/Qualifications - Graduate (or equivalent) in Engineering, Science discipline, or another related topic
