where you will provide an accurate and timely design solution to all storage requirements for internal & external customers, More specifically: Evaluate technical solutions to meet customer requirements Produce high-quality drawings and layouts using CAD packages Produce accurate bill of materials for system entry Ensure all designs comply to CDM rules and SEMA/FEM codes of practice Increasing sales through prompt design costings Provide technical assistance to all internal and external stakeholders Full training will be provided, and further career opportunities are available for the right candidate. You will have To be successful as a Design Engineer, you will have a healthy mix of the following: Essential: Drawing software (AutoCAD packages). Competent IT user including Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook. Minimum GCSE A-C (pre 2018) or 9-4 (from 2018) in English, Science and Maths. Level 3 or above qualification in general engineering. Desirable: Previous industry knowledge, including pallet racking, shelving and mezzanine.
