Overview: Our client, who is in the Point of Sale industry, is currently seeking a Design Engineer to join their team to assist in modifying existing and designing new bespoke displays for clients. This is an excellent opportunity to excel your design career with future progression available. Role & Responsibilities: Use Solidworks and AutoCAD Provide technical support and assembly drawings to support the sales team in quoting Create and maintain engineering drawings and specifications to the customers' needs Using the Product Lifecycle Management system to complete drawings Attend client meetings Liaise with project managers and manufacturing team throughout the product prototype process Produce detailed reports from meetings regarding key points Specify best materials for the project Liaise with clients regarding specific requirements Create installation manuals Update planning schedules Essential Skills & Experience: 2+ years working in a similar position in the Point of Sale industry Confidence to speak to clients Experience with Solidworks Experience on a PLM system would be beneficial Team player Package: Up to 40,000 basic salary 24 days annual leave + bank holidays On-site parking Team events Future progression opportunities Private medical insurance
