This is a fantastic opportunity to work on diverse projects across multiple sectors, gaining exposure to key frameworks and regional clients. Role Overview

As a

Design Engineer , you’ll bridge the gap between engineering and commercial functions, playing a key role in the preparation and delivery of temporary works designs. This field-based role involves travel across the South of the UK, offering variety and the chance to meet clients and manage projects directly. Key tasks include: Preparing and checking temporary work designs. Attending meetings at sites and offices to provide engineering advice and support. Managing key projects and presenting to customers. Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new clients. Contributing to business development and framework agreements. Key Responsibilities

Produce temporary works designs and drawings, particularly excavation support systems. Conduct design checks and ensure compliance with legislation such as

CDM 2015 . Attend regional design and engineering meetings. Collaborate with other areas of the business, adding value wherever possible. Utilise software tools such as

Support IT ,

AutoCAD , and (preferably)

Revit . Qualifications & Skills

To thrive in this role, you will need: HNC/HND in Structural or Civil Engineering

(minimum). 1-2 years experience in temporary works

design, particularly in excavation support. A proactive, ambitious approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong engineering judgement and willingness to take responsibility. Knowledge of key design software and relevant legislation. What’s on Offer
