£50,000 - £60,000 p.a + 26 days holiday (+ Bank Holidays)

Responsibilities:
Perform engineering evaluations and feasibility studies for water and wastewater projects, analysing data to identify potential challenges and areas for improvement. Develop comprehensive engineering designs, detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Work closely with clients, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to ensure adherence to environmental regulations and compliance with permitting requirements. Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in water and wastewater engineering through ongoing research and engagement. Offer technical support and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians, promoting a collaborative and growth-focused environment.
Essential Skills/Background: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent. Extensive experience in water and wastewater engineering, with a focus on the design and construction of treatment systems, pipelines, and related infrastructure. Advanced proficiency in engineering software, including AutoCAD, hydraulic modelling programs, and data analysis tools. Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes applicable to water and wastewater treatment facilities. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work to timescales. Must be eligible to work in the UK.
