Due to a period of growth, our client is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join them, taking on responsibility for the drawing requirements of the company!
Design Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:
Liaising with clients to identify their requirements (may require site visits), modifying existing drawings if needed
Working alongside the R&D department in the development of new Systems
Working with Sales and Production Staff in the assembly of Systems and its components
Produce detailed design drawings in 3D Images using the Solidworks Software
Be responsible for the production of detailed design drawings in 2D Images using Draftsight Software
Creation of System Build of Materials Lists
Using Project and Timing management of systems
The ideal Design Engineer will:
Have experience of using Solidworks 3D and 2D Draftsight Design packages
Proven written and oral skills to communicate changes with customers and other departments
Will have gained their experience within an Engineering design capacity
Knowledge of System Piping, Pumps, Valves, and Water Purification systems
Working Hours + Benefits:
Core Working Hours: Monday – Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30 / Friday 08:00 – 15:00
