Design Engineering Manager
£45,000 - £60,000 Basic + Good Package + Progression
Unique opportunity to be the technical lead for a small yet renowned manufacturer of automotive products with ambitious plans to expand their operations into different industries worldwide. As Design Engineering Manager, you’ll be the technical lead for all projects, with a specialist team to deliver.
This company has a fantastic product range and has been successful for many years – with an ambitious new CEO in place, they are looking to expand their products into the Aerospace, Defence, and Marine industries. As Design Engineering Manager, you’ll be the lead for all things technical related, managing the team, and ensuring production runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
As Design Engineering Manager, Your Role Will Include:
- Running a small technical team of 15
- Involvement in design through to manufacture, prototyping
- Streamlining production processes
- Being the technical expert and running the shop floor
- Full-time office based in Slough
As Design Engineering Manager, You Will Need:
- Experienced mechanical engineer / technical lead
- Background from machining / component manufacture
- Solidworks design capability
- Understanding of materials – polymers, metals etc.
- Experience from Aerospace / Automotive
- Commutable to Slough
