Join us in empowering creative professionals around the world! Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be a little time consuming and you're probably keen to find out what's on offer, so we'll get straight to the point. About Affinity We are Affinity, the rebels of the creative world who have made it our mission to disrupt the status quo of traditional photo editing and design software – because creatives deserve better. Next-generation pro photo editing, page layout, graphic design and illustration:

Affinity Designer, Affinity Photo and Affinity Publisher have already become the go-to creative apps of more than four million+ designers, artists, photographers and other professionals around the world. Joining forces to make an even bigger impact:

In spring 2024, we joined the Canva family, helping us turbocharge our growth to bring our pro-level tools to millions more creatives across the globe. Where and how you can work Canva’s flagship campus is in Sydney, Australia, supported by offices all over the world. Our super-modern Nottingham campus is home to Affinity. Located near the bustling town of West Bridgford, our office features a newly renovated, open-plan working environment with various meeting and breakout spaces. This hybrid role is based at our Nottingham office, with a mix of in-office collaboration (Monday-Wednesday) and flexibility to work remotely on Thursdays and Fridays. What you’ll do As Affinity scales, change continues to be part of our DNA. We’ve provided a breakdown of the type of things you'll be working on: Lead projects from briefing to delivery, under the direction of the Head of Creative and working with other creatives. Supervise freelance creatives and work with agencies; suitable candidates could manage the Affinity creative team. Develop strong ideas, crafting and scrutinising briefs and strategies. Create integrated campaigns, with an understanding of OOH and experiential campaign strategies. Communicate and champion creative thinking and technical execution to collaborators throughout each project. Collaborate with Affinity creatives across both brand and product campaigns. Understand how to brief other creative specialists to collaborate on projects. To fully understand the brand and product, you’ll be expected to use Affinity creative software to produce your artwork; therefore, you’ll ideally have a good grasp of the software already. What we’re looking for We’re looking for a Design Lead to spearhead the ideation, production and delivery for Affinity campaigns. This opportunity requires: Senior level creative experience in an in-house brand, marketing or agency environment. Proven track record delivering impactful commercially successful campaigns. Demonstrable practical multi-creative skills as well as conceptual thinking. Experience in a fast-paced, quick turnaround environment. Deep understanding of the role that video/social content plays in campaigns. Experience overseeing creatives. Ability to design pitch decks and presentations. About the team The Affinity marketing team is on a mission to empower every professional designer and photographer with best-in-class software. The Creative specialty team at Affinity is tasked with delivering inspirational and imaginative campaigns that impress pro designers everywhere. What’s in it for you We offer a range of benefits to support your success in and outside of work: Equity packages. Inclusive parental leave policy. An annual Vibe & Thrive allowance. Flexible leave options. Free communal lunches every week. Other stuff to know We make hiring decisions based on your experience, skills and passion. When you apply, please tell us the pronouns you use and any reasonable adjustments you may need during the interview process. Please note that interviews are conducted virtually. About Canva At Canva, we create tools that empower the world to design. Our mission is to democratise design and empower creativity for anyone and everyone.
