Design Lead
to manage a small, talented team while driving the evolution of our design function, processes, and outputs. If you thrive on balancing strategy and execution, bringing fresh ideas to the table, and producing impactful, high-quality work, this is the role for you.
About the Role
As Design Lead, you’ll have an 80:20 split between hands-on design and leadership, ensuring that every creative output is not only visually stunning but also strategically aligned. You'll be at the forefront of crafting compelling digital and offline experiences for both B2C and B2B audiences, driving engagement, brand recognition, and meaningful commercial outcomes.
In this role, you’ll:
Lead the Way : Shape and evolve the design function, creating a strong foundation for innovative, consistent, and impactful work. Be Hands-On : Deliver exceptional creative outputs while setting a high standard for your team. Strategise and Collaborate : Partner with content creators, marketers, and stakeholders to develop cohesive design strategies that enhance user experience and brand engagement. Mentor and Manage : Guide and inspire your team, fostering growth and maintaining a positive, high-performing environment. Drive Quality : Ensure all deliverables meet brand standards, are aligned with commercial objectives, and are delivered efficiently.
What You’ll Bring
A strong portfolio showcasing impactful design across digital, print, and UI/UX projects. Expertise in tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma. A solid understanding of branding, visual identity, and content marketing principles. Proven leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and manage a small creative team. Experience crafting design strategies for multiple mediums, including SEO-optimised content, social media, email, and offline campaigns. Exceptional project management skills to organise workflows and deliver high-quality work on time. A proactive mindset with an eye for spotting opportunities to innovate and enhance the brand.
