Design Department Schedule:

39 hours per week (Monday – Friday) Duties and Responsibilities: Produce design programmes/controls for timely information release to procurement and construction delivery teams. Oversee Design Process and ensure work is completed on time and in line with the ER’s. Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and supply chain partners to create coordinated designs that can be used during the build and for maintenance. Undertake site visits as required for the project. Skills required: Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to lead and manage multi-disciplinary external design teams. A good team player with the drive to roll up their sleeves and get on with the job. Knowledge of Building Regulations, planning process and Building Safety Act. Broad experience in the leisure, commercial, education and mixed-use markets, designing to both traditional and modern methods of construction. Ability to interpret ER’s and develop compliant, workable solutions. A thorough understanding of the design and risk management processes. Commercial awareness and value engineering to increase value to client and drive down capital costs. Keen focus on sustainability and the environment. Good understanding of Mechanical & Electrical designs and processes. Qualifications & skills:

Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Services or Architecture would be advantageous, or comparable qualification. Benefits:
