Design Manager Roles & Responsibilities:
Managing the design phase of construction projects from concept development to construction documentation. Participating in the selection and procurement of design solutions including modern methods of construction (MMC), materials, finishes, sustainable technology, ensuring they align with project specifications, budgets, and timelines with the wider project team. Collaborating with Architects, Engineers, and other design professionals to develop comprehensive design plans, drawings, and specifications. Chairing Design Review meetings with Client and Design Partners. Working with Document Controller / Design Coordinator on information transfer. Design Manager Experience Required:
Minimum 10 years post qualified experience. Technical Buildings project experience, previous structural steel build experience. Strong technical / modelling skills - BIM, AutoCAD, 3D/4D Modelling Software. Excellent communication skills. Passion and ambition.
