Design Manager

Job Description This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Facade Design Manager to join a very well-respected specialist sub-contractor. About our Client My client is a specialist façade sub-contractor within the building envelope sector. They specialize in cladding and curtain walling projects across the South East, with project values ranging from £250k to £8 million. They are looking to bring on an experienced Design Manager. About the Role Review contract documents and establish an understanding of contractual obligations in respect of the scope of works. Ensure that the design programme is being achieved and report any issues internally. Prepare necessary RFI schedule for timely submission in line with the internal design programme and advise any issues to the operations manager or QS. Maintain a drawing register to record submission dates, comments received, amended drawing issues, and final approval dates for all projects. Attend internal project review meetings with relevant project team members. Meet specialist subcontractors and suppliers to coordinate design and obtain necessary information for overall design responsibility. About the Candidate Previously held a Design Manager / Team Leader position for at least 2 years. Must have a façade background. Willing to work from home and travel to Winchester when required.
