What will your day to day activities as a Design Manager include?
This position will be responsible for taking the lead of design projects within the construction industry. The role will include site visits, fully designing brackets/modular systems using a variety of software (Revit, Navisworks and Inventor), stress analysis (with use of Ansys, Frame Generator, Nastran etc), supporting the wider design team, conducting Modern Method of Construction, Design and Delivery Strategy and much more.
This position will be on a permanent basis working a 37 hour working week and will offer the flexibility to work from home to suit the candidate. There is an option to work from home up to 4 days per week with office working being based in West Bromwich.
What will you need to be considered for this opportunity?
Strong confidence working on construction design software including Revit, Navisworks and Inventor A very strong communicator to pass on knowledge to the design team, communicate with customers and internal teams to see a project through to a high standard and to meet deadlines Experience in arranging and attending site visits It is essential that the successful candidate has a strong MEP, BIM or M&E background with a minimum of 4 years' University education is essential Having operated at a senior capacity in previous roles is highly desirable It is essential that the successful candidate has experience with stress analysis experience Right to work in the UK
