Wills Bros are seeking an experienced Design Manager for a high profile project in Dublin. As Design Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the design aspects of a large-scale infrastructure project. You will ensure that all design deliverables are completed to the highest standards, meet project specifications, and adhere to regulatory requirements. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, architects, and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the design process from concept through to detailed design and construction. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to develop and integrate design solutions. Ensure all design work complies with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Develop and maintain design schedules, budgets, and resources to meet project milestones. Review and approve design documents, drawings, and specifications. Monitor design progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks and issues. Liaise with the project management team to ensure alignment of design activities with overall project goals. Act as the primary point of contact for design-related matters with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. Oversee the quality control processes for design deliverables, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in design management within the civil engineering sector, with a focus on large-scale infrastructure projects. Proven track record of leading and managing design teams on complex projects. In-depth knowledge of Irish and EU design standards, building codes, and regulations. Strong technical skills and proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM). Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Personal Attributes:
