Responsibilities: Provide technical support for the Design Technology, Art, and associated subject areas. Assist teachers during practical lessons by supporting students with a range of needs. Maintain and prepare resources, tools, and materials for lessons and projects. Ensure classrooms and workshops are safe, organised, and compliant with Health & Safety regulations. Repair and maintain equipment and tools as needed. Act on your own initiative to meet tight deadlines and provide proactive support to teaching staff. Collaborate with teachers to contribute to the delivery of engaging and creative lessons. Assist with displays and exhibitions of student work.
Requirements: Experience working in a school or educational setting is desirable. Knowledge of Design Technology and Art tools, equipment, and materials. Understanding of Health & Safety regulations and their application in a classroom/workshop setting. Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask. Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently.
