Do You Have a Passion for Design & Technology?

We are seeking a dedicated Design & Technology Technician to join our dynamic team at a thriving school in Milton Keynes. This role is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for the subject, offering support to both students and teaching staff in the delivery of high-quality lessons.

About the Role

Provide essential technical support for Design & Technology lessons, including setting up equipment and maintaining the workshop environment. Assist students during practical lessons, ensuring safety guidelines are followed and providing help with equipment and materials. Liaise with teachers to ensure the availability of materials and resources for lessons. Help maintain and organise tools and equipment, ensuring they are safe, in good working order, and accessible for teaching. Assist in managing stock, ordering materials, and supporting classroom activities as required.

About You

Experience in a similar technical support role, ideally within Design & Technology. Strong practical skills and a keen eye for detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage resources effectively. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
