Design & Technology Technician (Primarily Food Technology)
Permanent, part-time post working 15 hours per week (open to different working patterns within Teaching Core hours of 8:30am – 3:00pm Monday – Friday)
Term Time only plus INSET days
Salary: Grade 4 (SCP 5-6) £24,790 - £25,183 per annum pro rata
Actual salary: £8,727.23 - £8,865.59 per annum

This role is key to supporting our Technology teaching team to deliver and support practical lessons, and you will be directed and supported by senior colleagues to allow you to fulfil this role. Good numeracy, literacy and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to use your initiative to support students, contributing to their success, behaviour management and social skills. Working in the classroom to ensure good health, safety and wellbeing practices are maintained you will have a good understanding of food preparation and hygiene requirements, although training can be provided.
