Design Verification Technician (Medical Devices)

Your Key Responsibilities:
Management and operation of complex test equipment
Exploratory testing of prototypes and functional components of devices
Preparation of devices for test including assembly and inspection of devices or prototype models
Input into test planning including preparation and review of protocols and test methods
Execution of testing activities including full Design Verification Test execution
Writing test reports and analysing results
What you’ll bring to the role:
University degree in Science or Engineering or related subject, or equivalent experience
Familiarity with ISO 20072 and ISO 11608 desirable
Experience of developing or testing medical devices, ideally drug delivery devices (2+ years’ experience)
Technical writing skills
Understanding of laboratory safety, quality control and risk management
Familiarity with Zwick and Mecmesin test systems desirable
Diligence in testing, both in following protocols and identifying issues
Experience of working to GLP and GMP
Results orientated, enthusiastic, and driven by excellence
Excellent command of English (verbal and written)
