Job Description 1 Year Fixed Contract Salary – Scale 11 (£42355-£44149) Inclusive of London weighting and Ealing supplement 35 hours per week term time only 39 weeks (the school will consider a 4 day week for a suitable candidate) To start February 2025 or as soon after as possible

About us: John Chilton School is a successful school for pupils who have complex physical, medical and learning difficulties. We are innovative in our approach to educate pupils with a range of cognitive, physical and medical needs (4 to 19 years) in a unique environment. The school has two sites co-located with mainstream academies. The post holder will be expected to work across both sites. We aim for our pupils to become confident, independent and motivated members of the community. The job includes working under the supervision of the Headteacher and Governing Board to take the lead responsibility for safeguarding and child protection across the school (including online safety). They will take part in strategy discussions and inter-agency meetings, and contribute to the assessment of children; monitor the concerns through the school system. About you: * You will be hard working and committed to work across the age range (4 to 19 years); You will be able to manage your own workload and prioritise. You will be able to liaise with a wide range of agencies, professionals and parents.
