This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Creative Designer to bring their passion and expertise to a fast-paced product design team. The Role:

You will be joining a small team as a sock, underwear and packaging designer reporting to the Managing Director. Product Design:

Design both men's and women's products for a diverse portfolio of brands and customers. Packaging Innovation:

Develop exciting new packaging and gifting concepts to enhance product appeal. Market Research:

Conduct ongoing market and trend research and analyse sales data to stay ahead of industry trends. Product Development:

Work closely with international suppliers to sample and develop products. Sample Management:

Approve and maintain samples and lab dips, ensuring alignment with design specifications. Quality Control:

Inspect pre-production and salesman samples to confirm packaging and design elements are correct. Time Management:

Manage timelines effectively to meet production schedules and deadlines. Team Collaboration:

Work closely within a shared design role, fostering strong communication and teamwork to achieve collective goals and ensure seamless project execution. CAD Creation:

Create and maintain clear and precise CADs for all designs. Cross-functional communication:

Collaborate with vendors and internal teams, including buying, marketing, merchandising, operations, and sales, to ensure alignment. Customer Engagement:

Meet with customers to present upcoming ranges and gather valuable sales feedback. POS Design:

Design and produce point-of-sale materials for stores and concessions, such as lightbox posters, FSDUs, CDUs, posters, and tent cards. Travel:

Occasionally travel to visit manufacturing partners. Flexibility:

Be available for occasional weekend work during peak periods, though this is extremely infrequent. About you:

Previous design experience in apparel or hosiery (preferred). Proficiency in Adobe Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop. Strong understanding of construction, fit, trims, and fabrics. Knowledge of the product lifecycle and supply chain. Experience with overseas manufacturing is advantageous. Benefits:
