Designer (Equestrian Wear)

to work within our world class Design team to help achieve our goal of making LeMieux the most exciting equestrian brand on the planet. The role: Designer (Equestrian Wear) As an Equestrian Product Designer, you will report into the Head of Design and be responsible for your categories from concept right through to production sign off. We are looking for a designer with a strong equestrian background and knowledge. This is the perfect opportunity to combine passion and career, creating innovative products, specifically for the horse, for one of the most exciting Equestrian brands in the world. We require a team member who is eager to learn and who is able to bring fresh ideas in order to create unique products for horse and rider. This role is ideal for a hardworking and self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities are as follows: Collaborate across departments and teams to develop exceptional products that meet our customers' needs. Own the design process, from conceptualization right through to production sign off, on your given categories. Work to the critical path, ensuring deadlines are met and product is delivered on time. Be commercially minded when designing and bringing product to life. Pay meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of design. Create clear and accurate design packs and liaise with factories to ensure correct execution and deadlines are met. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor offerings. Suitable applicants will display the following: A Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, or a related field, or industry equivalent experience. Industry experience in equestrian product design Strong equestrian knowledge and background Proven ability to work diligently in a fast-paced environment. Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively. Self-sufficient and able to take initiative. Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
